Aqua Ohio lifts boil advisory for Marion area

The boil water advisory issued by Aqua Ohio (Aqua) for its customers in the Marion service area has been lifted effective 5:35 PM November 30, 2015. The water system serves the City of Marion and the Villages of Caledonia, Martel and Prospect.

According to Aqua, samples tested over the last 24 hours have confirmed that the water in the system meets all regulatory drinking water standards and remains safe to drink and use for cooking, cleaning and other purposes.

Aqua is notifying customers that the advisory is lifted through the media and Aqua’s notification system, WaterSmart Alerts.

Although the matter is resolved, customers can call Aqua at 877.987.2782 if they have any questions or concerns.
