The Marion Family YMCA said they are very excited to bring a few new adult classes starting in January. They will be offering four different TRX classes. TRX is a full-body strength workout that utilizes a person’s own body weight instead of relying on machines or dumbbells. It’s good for endurance athletes, power lifters, and fitness newbies alike.
- TRX Flow: Saturday 9-10:00am – Challenge yourself with a little flow, rhythm, balance and a lot of TRX suspension. Build strength, lengthen your muscles and tone like never before.
- TRX Strength & Core: Sunday 4-5:00pm – Build muscle and support a healthy body with this essential TRX strength workout. This class also uses dumbbells, kettlebells and TRX.
- TRX Bootcamp: Wednesday 5-5:45pm – A complete workout with the boot camp style exercises along with the multi function of the TRX training system.
- TRX Functional Fitness: Thursday 8:45-9:45am- This TRX class will provide you with the strength, stability, power, mobility, endurance and flexibility.
Also new in January is a Cycle to Strength class starting January 3rd at 2:00 pm.
