METRICH/MARMET Drug Task Force and local law enforcement agencies are looking for a suspect wanted following the execution of a search warrant on Monday, February 15, 2016. Shon Maniaci, 21, of Marion, has a warrant for his arrest out of Marion Municipal Court for possession of cocaine and heroin.
Maniaci is described as a white male, 6’02” tall, 265 pounds, with Brown hair.
On Monday, detectives from MARMET along with the assistance of the Marion Police Department and Marion Police Special Response Team executed a search warrant at 615 North State Street in Marion. The warrant was issued as part of a narcotics investigation.
Detectives said they located 84 grams of crack cocaine, 4 grams of cocaine, 39 grams of heroin, $4000 in cash, a stolen handgun, 50 grams of marijuana and a hydraulic press. The street value of the drugs is approximately $14,000.
“This case is currently ongoing and charges are expected,” stated Lt. Chris Adkins. “MARMET detectives continue to aggressively investigate and arrest those which sell drugs in our community.”
“This case goes to show crack cocaine is still very much abused. I urge those with information on drug locations to call the TIPS Line,“ said Lt. Adkins.
