Auditions for “The Tabernacle” will be held at Bethlehem Dance Education & Ministry Arts, 746 Bethlehem Road West, Prospect, OH, (just northwest of Waldo) on April 3, 2016 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
All levels of actors and dancers, ages 7 and older, are welcome. Participants are asked to bring a water bottle, current photograph, and be prepared to act and read a script. Some tryouts will involve learning dance steps.
The Tabernacle is an original work directed and choreographed by Victoria Bell, Director of BDE&MA. Proceeds will benefit Child Evangelism Fellowship, Royal Kids Camp, ProLife, and ongoing ministries of BDE&MA.
Initial sponsors are Bethlehem Dance Education & Ministry Arts, Marion Christian Center, Larry and Priscilla Wilcox.
Auditions are for the following parts:
Girl actor, Boy actor, 12 Tribes ( Judah, etc) people, trumpets, cymbals, harp, viol, singers, banner holders, priests, High priest, dancers, Rounding out the cast will be the the dancers who portray The Ark, Fire, Table of Shewbread, Altar of Incense, Jehovah, Mary do you know, Speak Life, Cloud, Lamp, Laver, from the BDE&MA dance team.
This story takes the audience from the Tabernacle in the Old Testament to the present day Tabernacle-God’s followers. Rehearsals are required. Saturdays 4-6 will be the practices.
This community production will take place Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 7:00pm at Marion Christian Center in Marion, Ohio. Tickets will be available April at Bethlehem Dance Education and Ministry Arts. For information or Sponsor forms call Victoria at 740 726 2244.
