BookMarks gearing up for annual book sale to benefit Marion Library

The BookMarks, a Friends of the Marion Public Library group, will host their second annual book sale at the library April 15- 17, 2016.  The group promises there will be many great buys to be found, including fiction and non-fiction, in hardback, trade and paperbacks, DVDs, CDs, videos and records.

The sale hours are Friday and Saturday, 9 am- 4 pm. On Sunday they are open 12 noon- 4 pm.

BookMarks members are invited to a Members Only Preview Evening on Thursday, April 14, from 5- 8 pm. Memberships will be sold at the door, with multiple levels of support, including Basic- $10, Family- $25, Patron- $50 and Sponsor- $100 memberships.

Book prices run from $1- $3 apiece.  DVDs are $2 and video are $.50.  Records are $1 and CDs are $2.  On Sunday, book prices only are discounted, running $3/bag provided by the BookMarks.  There will be lots of inventory and new materials will be put out daily as space allows.

The Book Sale @ the Library is the major fund raiser for the BookMarks, a non-profit Friends support group for the Marion Public Library.  These funds help the BookMarks support the programs and operations of the Library.
