Dean Jacob, president and CEO of Marion Community Foundation, recently addressed a gathering of the Foundation’s donor advisors to discuss current needs of the Marion community. The donor advisors are creators of charitable funds at the Foundation who help recommend grant awards for the Foundation.
The meeting, held June 22, 2016 at the Center Street Community Health Center, occurred as the Foundation begins accepting applications for its 2016 Community Grants Program. More than $450,000 is being made available to support Marion area nonprofit, charitable organizations. Applications are available online and due July 21.
