Marion man killed Monday morning in motorcycle crash

Troopers from the Marion Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on Monday, August 22, 2016.  A call was received at 5:06am that lines were down on Mount Olive Agosta Road at Deadwood Road in Green Camp Township.

Investigators said that a 1976 self-assembled motorcycle operated by Paul M. Fisher, 52, of Marion, was traveling northbound on Mount Olive Agosta Road at Deadwood Road.  The motorcycle went off the right side of the roadway and struck a sign and utility pole.

The Patrol said Fisher was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene by Marion County Coroner Dr. Marc Comianos.

Green Camp Township Fire Department, Med Care and First Advance ambulance assisted on the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
