Road construction to affect State Routes 203 and 98 this week

The Ohio Department of Transportation has announced that the following work is planned in the Marion County area on the specified dates and times. All work is weather dependent; it may be postponed or cancelled without prior notice.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 23
State Route 203 – (NEW) Beginning at 7 a.m., SR 203 will be closed in both directions at Newmans-Cardington Road for culvert repairs.  The detour is SR 203 south to SR 739 west to SR 37 south to SR 47 east to SR 4 north to SR 203 or reverse.  Completion: August 26th at 7 a.m.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 24
State Route 98 – (NEW) SR 98 will be reduced one lane of two-way traffic at Waldo Fulton Road from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. for resurfacing. Traffic will be maintained with bridge work. Completion: September 2.

State Route 98 – (NEW) SR 98 will be reduced one lane of two-way traffic between SR 423 and County Line Road from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. for resurfacing. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers. Completion: October 7.
