The I Can Center of Excellence will hold a free ACT Empowered Workshop on Nov. 12 at The Ohio State University at Marion.
The workshop will be held 9 a.m.-2 p.m. in Morrill Hall at Ohio State at Marion at 1465 Mount Vernon Ave. It is free to all students who attend a school in Marion County including Tri-Rivers Career Center.
The five-hour long course has been shown to help students raise their ACT scores. Each student is provided with an ACT prep guide and a packet of useful test taking information. All students should bring something to write with, a notebook, a calculator and highlighters.
Students will get breaks and may bring their own lunch, snacks and beverage.
