Palace Theatre to feature Ronnie Milsap, “Storks” movie this weekend

Tickets are still available to see country music legend, Ronnie Milsap live in concert at the historic Marion Palace Theatre on Friday, October 28 at 8 p.m. With 8 Grammy Awards and 40 #1 country hits under his belt, Ronnie is considered one of the most successful and versatile country “crossover” singers of his time and ranks as the pre-eminent country soul singer of his generation. Classic hits include “I Wouldn’t Have Missed it for the World,” “Lost in the Fifties Tonight,” “It Was Almost Like A Song,” and “Smoky Mountain Rain,” among many others. The Ronnie Milsap concert is sponsored by Whirlpool and supported by the Ohio Arts Council. Patrons are encouraged to order tickets early. $37, $42, $47, $52.

On Saturday, October 29 and Sunday, October 30 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. the Palace will show the animated movie, “Storks.” Warner Brothers Pictures provides the following synopsis of the family-friendly flick:

Storks deliver babies…or at least they used to. Now they deliver packages for global internet giant Cornerstore.com. Junior, the company’s top delivery stork, is about to be promoted when he accidentally activates the Baby Making Machine, producing an adorable and wholly unauthorized baby girl. Desperate to deliver this bundle of trouble before the boss gets wise, Junior and his friend Tulip, the only human on Stork Mountain, race to make their first-ever baby drop – in a wild and revealing journey that could make more than one family whole and restore the storks’ true mission in the world. This animated adventure stars Andy Samberg, Kelsey Grammer, Katie Crown, Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele, and Danny Trejo. “Storks” is rated PG for mild action and some thematic elements and runs 87 minutes.

Movie admission prices are $4 for all ages and $2 for current 2016-2017 PCAA members presenting a valid membership card.

Concessions are available, including candy bars for $1 and 20 oz. Pepsi products, popcorn and boxed theatre candy for $2 each.
