The Marion campus and Marion Popcorn Festival are joining forces to host The Running Dead: Zombies Unleashed 5K Run, on Saturday, October 22nd on the Marion campus
The race starts at the Alber Student Center, where runners will endure a 5K run through a zombie-infested course. Participants are encouraged to test their speed, endurance, and strength, while trying to avoid ravenous zombies. Runners will have flags that represent their health. Zombies will try to steal those flags. Runners must make it to the finish line with at least one flag or become one of the walking dead.

Event details and schedule
- Registration begins at 9 a.m.; race begins at 10 a.m.
- Check in is at the Alber Student Center
- Parking is free and open to community
- Bring registration and picture ID
- Health flags/Race bibs will be provided
Registration Prices:
- Registration after October 8, $35 – 18 years of age and over
- Registration after October 8, $25 – 17 years of age and under
