Real estate taxes due, no late notices will be sent

The Marion County Treasurer’s Office reports that due to unforeseen circumstances with an upgrade to the computer system and not receiving new tax forms in time, there will not be any delinquent bill mailing from their office this year.

Regardless, in order to avoid being published in the Marion Star as being delinquent, your taxes need to be paid in full on or before Friday, October 28, 2016.

All payments must be made in certified funds. This means cash, cashier’s check or money order.

If you have any questions, contact the Treasurer’s Office at 740-223-4030.  Business hours are Monday – Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm.
