Allen R. Martin age 71 passed away Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Marion General Hospital.
He was born August 7, 1938 in Marion, Ohio to the late Rubert Otis and Doris June (McEleroy) Martin.
On June 27, 1979 he married Thelma (Ferguson).
Allen was a resident of Greencamp, Ohio for 30 years, he retired after 37 years at Whirlpool Corp., he was a life member of B.P.O.E. # 32 in Marion and the Grand Lodge F.A.&M # 70 in Marion.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma Martin of Greencamp, four daughters, Leanne (Donald) Tucker of Marion, Cheryl Martin of Marion, Debbie Stallings of Marion, Carol Fowler of Marion, eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, sister, Peggy (Jack) Moore of Marion, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at 10 AM in Greencamp Cemetery, Boyd-Born Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the family.
