Charles C. Martin age 69 of Marion passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Dayton Veterans Administration Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio.
Born October 9, 1949 in Dante Virginia to the late Curtis C. and Nannie (Grizzle) Martin.
Charles was a U.S. Army Veteran, he retired from Probst Supply and worked part time at River Bend Camp Grounds.
Surviving are his wife Elaine Ann (Nemeth) Martin, a daughter Karen Sue Johnson of Marion, two brothers Lawrence Martin of Greencamp, Scottie J. Martin of Mt Gilead, three sisters Faye Ann Hill, Lulabell Conley, Maxi Whittaker all of Marion, five grandchildren Dustin Swisher of Delaware, Cassandra Swisher, Alexander Johnson, Andre Johnson, Kira Johnson all of Marion, one great grandchild Zaccarri Cantrell, many neices and nephews and best friend Harvey Claypool.
Six sisters preceded Charles in death.
Family will receive friends from 4:00 PM till 7:00 PM Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 Am Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. Burial will follow in Grand Prairie Cemetery.
