Ruby E. Berry age 91 of Marion, Ohio passed away Thursday, April 29, 2010 at Partners of Marion.
She was born September 22, 1918 in Barbersville, WV., to the late Russell and Ella (Black) Forth.
Ruby married Ernest Bailey in 1937 he preceded her in death in 1960, she then was married Herman Berry in 1971, he preceded her in death in 1982.
Ruby was a member of Marion Enterprise Baptist Church for many years.
She is survived by two daughters, Jeanie Carroll of Marion, OH., Ellen (Don) Haycook of Bucyrus, OH., 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, a sister, Alice Tallman of Marion, OH., and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death her grandson, Mike Shumate and a brother, Lee M. Forth which was killed in battle during WWII.
The funeral service for Ruth will be Tuesday, May 4, 2010 1 PM at Marion Enterprise Baptist Church 130 Orton St. with Pastor Corey Carroll officiating. Burial will follow at Marion Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, May 2, 2010 from 4 – 8 PM at Marion Enterprise Baptist Church.
The Boyd-Born Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the family.
