Damien M. Baker, Little Damien, known simply as "D" by his family died peacefully Monday, September 20 ,2010 at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio due to medical complications.
He was born May 3, 2005 in Marion the son of Brittany N. Baker and Rick D. Bowens of Marion.
Damien just began Kindergarten at Benjamin Harrison School.
Also surviving are three sisters Hailey Marie Bowens, Alexa Bowens, Nevaeh N. Baker, three brothers Ayden Daniel Bowens, Trenton Mickel Bowens, Aarick Stewart Bowens, all of Marion, grandparents, Joyce A. Baker, Richard Bowens and Mary Bowens of Marion, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceding Damien in death is his grandfather Craig W. Baker.
"D" liked to play with transformers and dinosaurs and always liked to watch wrestling, but most of all he liked to be outside playing.
Family will receive friends Sunday, September 26, 2010 from 1:00 PM till 3:00 PM at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 27, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors with Pastor Rick Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in Waldo Cemetery.
