Charles N. “Chuck” Esterline, 57, of Marion

Charles N. "Chuck" Esterline age 57. On April 14, 2011 we lost a Dear Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and friend to the Lord.

Chuck was born January 17, 1954 to Charles Esterline and Arlene (Oiler) Miller and Step Father Bud Miller who preceded him in death.

On November 30, 1979 he married the love of his life and soul mate Lee (Kessler) Esterline.

His love and joy for life will be carried on by his brother Craig Esterline, his children Nicholas (Kathryn) Esterline, Leslie Esterline (Travis), Charles Esterline II (Kari) and son in law Mark Watters as well as his three beautiful grandchildren, Markley Watters, Ava and Hudson Esterline.

Throughout his life he touched many people in many ways. He served in the US Army for five years, and was employed with Erie Lackawanna and Conrail Railways for 22 years. Chuck enjoyed spending the greater part of his free time throughout the years at their family cottage with family and friends at Little Long Lake in Camdenm MI. Some of the activities that Chuck was involved in and love most were the Marion Masonic Lodge #70 and Oliver Lodge 447 as well as the Knights of Columbus.

Chuck had an appetite for life like no one else. Anyone that knew Chuck loved him and what you remember the most is that he loved you so much more in return. He will be missed and loved by all and never will be forgotten. "Here's to us and those like us. damn few left."

Family will receive friends Friday, April 22, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Emanuel Lutheran Church 241 South Prospect Street with Rev. Mark Schuring officiating. A Celebration Ceremony will be held at Little Long Lake at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Knights of Columbus Bereavement Fund. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.gunderhallandfolk.com.
