David "Eric" Furniss age 41 of Marion, Ohio, passed away Friday April 22, 2011 at the Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
He was born in Marion, Ohio on July 8, 1969 to Brenda Jones who survives in Marion and raised also by the late Charles Kelly.
David was a very loving person who loved his family and friends, enjoyed fishing and watching the Ohio State Buckeyes. In past years when David was able to work, he was an electrician for Rhodes Heating and Air Conditioning.
David is survived by two daughters and a son; Courtney and Megan Furniss both of Marion and Tyler Furniss of Nevada, Ohio. Also surviving is a brother and three sisters; John Piatt, Tammy Zuspan, Lorri (Dave) Pletcher, and Angel Bird all of Marion, and one step-brother and two step-sisters; Richie (Michelle) Kelly, Tina (Jeff) Gibson and Lisa (Bill) McCurdy all of Marion. Several Aunts, Uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.
A Memorial Service for David will take place on Friday April 29, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ of The Latter Day Saints on Marion-Edison Rd., Marion. Officiating the service will be President Tom Titensor. Friends may call at the church the same day from 9 to 11 A.M. Burial will be at a later date.
