Helen I. Clark age 93 of Marion, Ohio passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Community Health Care Center.
She was born October 14, 1917 in Sciotoville, Ohio to the late Charles and Martha (Rice) Bender.
On February 9, 1937 she married Lawrence M. Clark, he preceded her in death on March 2, 1994.
Helen was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Marion, and formerly worked as the elevator operator at Uhler's Department Store for fourteen years and as a salesperson for thirteen years at Kresgie's.
She is survived by a son, Daniel (Alyce) Clark of Marion, a daughter, Judy (Salvador) Rivas of Marion, twelve grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, Viola McKee, and three sisters, Clara Bender, Hazel Shields and Carol Winn.
Funeral Service for Helen will be Monday, May 2, 2011 10 AM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with James Bright officiating. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 1, 2011 for family and friends from 2 – 4 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness.
