Robert Martin Walker age 78 of Marion passed away Saturday, April 9, 2011 at his residences.
Born in Marion February 23, 1933 to the late Charles O. and Kathleeen (Blocksom) Walker.
Robert was a plant manager at Huber Manufacturing and retired from Fairfield Engineering in Marion in 2003 . Robert enjoyed family time, fishing, hunting, and woodworking.
On October 13, 1978 he married Patsey (Sizemore) Walker and she survives.
Also surviving are his children Brenda (Ernie) Wallace, Regan (Kevin) Garrison, Rochelle Elsasser, Robert "Mike" (Nancy) Walker, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death besides his parents are his brothers John(Jack), Charles (Bill), and James (Jim) Walker.
Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors with Rev. Bud Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Marion Cemetery.
