Annabell Fay Persinger age 76 of Marion passed away Friday, May 13, 2011, at Southern Hills Hospital in Las Vegas.
Born March 8, 1935, in Bucyrus, Ohio, to the late Roy V. and Elva (Moore) Showalter.
She graduated from Harding High School where she fell in love with Gerald Persinger and his music. The sweethearts were wed on June 27, 1954. She served as a PTA Officer, Room Mother, an Assistant Leader in 4-H and a Girl Scout Leader from Brownies to Cadets. She was an entrepreneur in several business ventures as well as the Kids favorite place, McDonalds. She was a loving Wife, Mother and Home Maker.
Annabell will be missed by her husband Gerald Persinger, daughter Pamela Harris (Stuart), daughter Jeriann Martin (Terry), grandchildren Joshua Cocherl, Mckenzie Cocherl, Marissa Martin, Ashley Martin, Ethan Harris and Karli Harris, great-grandchildren Kameron, Hallie, and Bryson Cocherl, and sister Janice Fritch (Raymond). Annabell will also be missed by many family members and friends.
Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m till 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2011 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors with Rev. Floyd Radebaugh officiating. Burial will follow in Marion Cemetery.
