Joseph “Andy” Fields II, 56

On Wednesday June 22, 2011 Joseph "Andy" Fields II died unexpectedly at home.

Joe was born October 18, 1954 in Ashland, Ky. to the late Joseph Fields and Lillian Fields who survives in Marion, Ohio.

He graduated in 1973 from Harding High School. He worked for the Marion Power Shovel for 16 years and the Nippert in Delaware for 16 years before retiring due to his health.

A Diehard Sports fan, Joe spent his time watching Nascar, his Kentucky Wildcats, Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Browns and any other sports he could find on T.V. Joe liked to visit with his friends and talk sports. Besides his sports, his time with his children, grandchildren and family had become very special to him.

Besides his mother, Joe is survived by a daughter, Larissa (Bob) Shirley, a son, Joseph (Andrea) Fields III, grandchildren; Blake Jordan, Mathew and Kyle Shirley, Nick Jayden and Marah Fields. Also a sister, Jennifer (Pat) Hughes and a large extended family.

There will be a Memorial Service for Joseph on Monday June 27, 2011 at 7:30 P.M. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Visitation for family only will be from 5:00 to 6:00 P.M. and the Public from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M. Burial will take place at a later date in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashland, Ky.
