Martha M. Zimmerman age 96 of Marion, Ohio formerly of Mt. Gilead, Ohio passed away Monday, June 13, 2011 at Marion Manor Nursing Home.
She was born November 22, 1914 in Morrow County to the late Herman and Bessie (Venice) Hart.
In 1937 she married Robert N. Zimmerman, he preceded her in death in December 1985.
Martha was a member of Church of Christ in Christian Union and was a Life Member of V.F.W. #7201. She was employed for 23 years as an eccoier at Zimmerman Tax Office.
She is survived by her five children, Roberta (Dave) Dickey of Reno, NV., Janice (Bob) Fairchild of Sparks, NV., Dorothy (Allen) Shoaf of FL., Jeannine Zimmerman of Larue, OH., John (Pam) Zimmerman of Grove City, OH., eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, her brother, Bill Hart of TX., her sister, Charloette Geyer of Mt. Gilead, OH., nad numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be hels Saturday, June 18, 2011 2 PM at Church of Christ in Christian Union (1709 Bellefountaine Ave.) with Pastor John Burr officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. The Boyd-Born Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the family.
