Willington "Bill" Martin age 75 of Marion passed away Tuesday, June 21,2011 at his home.
Born August 5, 1935 in Arlee, West Virginia to the late Gerald R. and Nannie (Caudill) Martin.
Bill worked in construction until retirement.
Survivors include his wife Catherine I. (Maidlow) Martin, four sons Steve (Arleen) Martin of Marion, William "Bill" (Joyce) Martin of Loraine, Ohio, Tom (Nancy) Martin of Marion, Joseph (Christine) Martin of Marion, two daughters, Cathy (Roger) Blankenship of Marion, Deborah Grider of Marion, Grandchildren, Krista (Jeff) Cox, Donald (Kelli) Martin, Jeremy Martin, Steven (Suzette) Martin, William J. Martin, Jason (Tracy) Martin, Courtney (Benjamin) Hoskins, Randi Grider, two step grandchildren, Jennifer and Staci Martin, nine great-grandchildren, one brother, Robert Martin, two deceased brothers, Rex and John Martin, one deceased grandchild Nathan Martin, and one deceased great-grandchild Hunter Martin.
Bill was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed buiding clocks.
Family will recieve friends from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2011 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2011 at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors with Major James Sayer officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery.
