Carolyn J. Yaussy age 65 of Galion, Ohio, passed away Saturday July 16, 2011 at her residence.
She was born April 17, 1946 in Johnstown, Pa. to the late Jack and Ruth (Baer) Lewis.
On September 29, 1963 in Marion, Ohio, she married Arden Yaussy and he preceded her in death on December 31, 2004.
Carolyn was a nurses aide with the former Eastlawn Manor Nursing Home in Marion and was a member of the Heritage Bible Church in Marion, Ohio.
Surviving Carolyn are eight sons and a daughter; Buddy Yaussy of Georgia, John (Dana) Yaussy of Lexington, Ohio, Tim Yaussy of Missouri, Paul (Roxanne) Yaussy of Cincinnati, Ohio, David (Tracy) Yaussy of Colorado, Mark (Anne) Yaussy of Mt. Gilead, Ohio, Richard Yaussy of Galion, Ohio, Rande Yaussy of Marion, Ohio and Naomi Yaussy of Las Vegas, Nevada. Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren and a sister, Barbara Edenfield of Kansas City, Missouri.
Besides her parents and her husband, Carolyn was preceded in death by two sisters; Jan and Cheryl.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday July 20, 2011 at the Heritage Bible Church , 193 Marion Williamsport Rd., Marion, Ohio at 2:00 P.M. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Gary Brugger. Burial will follow in the Chapel Heights Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the church two hours prior to the service from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M.
