Melissa Ann Dutton Tackett Davis age 44 of Marion, Ohio passed away Sunday, July 17, 2011.
She was born May 4, 1967 to Tony L. and Ruth Ann (Shields) Dutton.
She was married to Norman E. Tackett in which she is survived by their four children, Joshua L. (Erika) Tackett, Adam R.D. Tackett, Tony N. Tackett, along with two step-children, Michael E. Tackett and Sean A. Tackett and their families.
She then married Bill A. Davis on April 1, 1997 and is survived by their son, Bill Albert Davis II. Others left to Cherish Melissa's memories include grandsons, Alex and Blake Tackett, five step-grandchildren, Mckinize, Juliea and Brent Lee, Kylie Brown and Cameron Parish, a sister, Penny Garrison, a brother, Randy Dutton in which she loved them all dearly.
She is preceded in death by husband, Bill A. Davis and her parents, Tony and Ruth Dutton.
Those close to her will remember her for her faith in God, compassion for music, and a special love and devotion for her family and friends.
Funeral services for Melissa will be held Friday, July 22, 2011 1 PM at Lighthouse of Prayer, 788 N. Main St. with Pastor Owen Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery. Visittation will be held Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 4 – 7 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
