James E. Zimmerman died Thursday July 28 2011 after an extended illness.
He was born July 21, 1951 to Carl and Donna (Lowrey) Zimmerman.
James attended The Ohio State University where he earned his associate’s degree, then worked at Whirlpool where he retired after 30 years of service.
He enjoyed golfing with friends and family, and of course, was the number one Ohio State fan ever. Nobly, James donated his body to science at The Ohio State University, leaving a legacy of education and research for future generations.
James is survived by a daughter, Stacey (Erick) Burkett, Columbus, a son, Michael Zimmerman, Findlay, and a sister, Barbara Skatzes, Marion. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Carla Zimmerman.
