Rita R. Millisor, age 88, died Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at home in Marion under family and Marion General Hospice care.
She was born May 25, 1923, in Marion, to the late James F. and Catherine V. (Lares) Coffey.
She attended St. Mary School and married Harold L. "Fats" Millisor August 3, 1940, who died March 28, 1995.
Survivors include 9 daughters, Sandy (Okey) Jordan of Delaware, Ohio, Susan Houseworth, Shannon (Jamie) Pollock, April (Larry) Emerson, Victoria Millisor, Terri (Steve) Smith all of Marion, Mary (James) Deal of Meigs County, Ohio, Kathy Millisor and Erin Millisor of Marion, 3 sons, Joseph (Connie) Millisor, Shawn (Tammy) Millisor and Scott Millisor, all of Marion, 40 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, many great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and 2 sisters, Dorothy Dodds and Erma Green of Marion.
One grandchild and 2 daughters, Marguerite A. White and Diane M. Freeman Fox and 1 brother James Coffey are deceased.
Son-in-laws Clayton White and Bob Fox survive.
Rita will always be remembered for her cooking, baking and love to play euchre!
Friends may call Friday, August 19, 2011, from 4 to 8 PM at Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, August 20, 2011, at 10 AM at St. Mary Church, Fr. Michael Nimocks officiating, with burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
