Kathryn N. Baker, age 78, of Marion passed on Saturday, August 20, 2011, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
On April 24, 1933, Kathryn was born near Prospect, Ohio, to the late Lewis and Edna Mae (Kline) Gould. She was a graduate of Johnsville High School and had attended Capitol University.
In 1956, Kathryn had married the late Robert Baker, with whom she had two sons and a daughter.
For many years, Kathryn worked as a hairdresser and had taught and supervised at the Ohio Beauty Academy.
A woman of faith, she had been a member of Epworth United Methodist Church.
In her later years, Kathryn loved to spend time sewing and knitting.
Kathryn is survived by two sons: John and Larry Baker; a daughter, Teresa (Clyde) Ball of Marion; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren; two sisters: S. Jean Bollinger & Judy Keif, both of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Including her husband and parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by two brothers: Rodney & Robert Gebby.
Burial will take place at a later date in Prospect Cemetery.
