Margaret Catherine Forrider, a lifetime resident of Marion, Ohio, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Marion Manor. She was 86 years old.
She was born July 3, 1925 to the late Harry and Letha (Connor) Rentschler. On March 3, 1942, she married the late Gerald Forrider.
Margaret worked at and retired from the former Erie Restaurant in Marion. She was of the Wesleyan Methodist faith. She was a loving mother and grandmother who touched the hearts of everyone she came in contact with. She loved to play Bingo at the Marion Manor.
She is survived by a daughter, Lisa (Todd) Wallace; three sons, Gerald "Jerry" Forrider, Jr., Ben (Nancy) Forrider, and Tom (Marlene) Forrider, all from Marion; and one brother, Richard (Pat) Rentschler of South Carolina; twelve grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Besides her parents and her husband, Margaret was preceded in death by her daughter, Pat Wren, four brothers and two sisters.
Calling hours will be held at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home Wednesday, September 14, 2011 from 1:00PM to 2:00PM followed immediately by a graveside service at 2:30PM at the Marion Cemetery. The Reverand Dwight Hord will officiate.
