Margaret J. Cardwell age 79 of Marion, Ohio passed away Friday, September 2, 2011 at Marion Manor Nursing Home.
She was born January 2, 1932 in Wyandot County to the late Robert and Dorothy (Beamer) Starner.
On May 28, 1949 she married William B. Cardwell, he survives in Marion.
Margaret was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Marion for over forty years, and was employed as the office manager for Dr. Dan Murphy for twenty plus years.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Cardwell of Marion, OH., two sons, Donald Cardwell of Delaware, OH., Steven (Camile) Cardwell of FL., five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, her brother, Thomas (Barbara) Starner of Bucyrus, OH., her sister, Ann Gradish of Amherst, OH.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jim Starner.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2011 @ 11 AM at the First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Riley Powell officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Marion Cemetery.
