Margaret J. Cardwell age 79 of Marion, Ohio passed away Friday, September 2, 2011 at Marion Manor Nursing Home.
She was born January 2, 1932 in Wyandot County to the late Robert and Dorothy (Beamer) Starner.
On May 28, 1949 she married Bill B. Cardwell, he survives in Marion.
Margaret was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Marion for over forty years, and was employed as the office manager for Dr. Dan Murphy for twenty plus years.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Cardwell of Marion, OH., two sons, Donald Cardwell of FL., Steven (Camile) Cardwell of FL., five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, her brother, Thomas (Barbara) Starner of Bucyrus, OH., her sister, Ann Gradish of Amherst, OH.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jim Starner.
The Boyd-Born Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the family. Burial will take place at a later date in Marion Cemetery.
