Simone Brown age 94 of Marion passed away Monday, September 5, 2011 at Marion Manor Nursing Home.
Born April 25, 1917 in New Brunswick, Canada to the late Johnny and Ada (Poitras) Rioux.
Simone was a Homemaker. She was a member of St Mary Church, an avid bowler and loved Bingo.
Surviving Simone are two sons, Robert (Marcella) Brown of Marion, Gregory (Janell) Brown of Delaware, one daughter Ada (Vance) Dutton of Marion, one brother, Alec Rioux of Bangor Maine, one sister, Juliette Martin of Gardner, Massachusetts, four grandchildren, Richie Brown, Vicki Moderwell Iglesias, Christopher Moderwell, Monica Brown, and four great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. till 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2011 at St Mary Church. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St Mary Church with Father Michael Nimocks officiating. Burial will follow in St Mary's Cemetery.
