Thomas J. Becker age 79 of Marion, Ohio formerly of Kenton, Ohio passed away Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Heartland of Marion.
He was born October 12, 1932 in Saginaw, MI., to the late Fred W. and Viola (Mueller) Becker.
On May 10, 1963 he married Rosanna (Laws) Becker, she survives in Marion.
Thomas was the former owner and manager of The Proffessional Building in Kenton, Business Manager at Kenton Hospital, and taught math at University of Findlay, Tiffin University, Lima Central High School and Lima North Junior High where he retired from after 17 years. When he had free time he loved to go shopping and parasailing.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Rosanna Becker of Marion, OH., five children, Carol A. Simon of Colunbus, OH., Cynthia K. (Kenneth) Belew of Omaha, NB., Timothy J. (Sharon) Becker of Foley, AL., Thomas J. (Janet) Becker Of Mt.Vernon, WA., Michelle S. Becker Of Bellefountaine, OH., five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Becker.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, September 16, 2011 @ 11 AM at Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Zweizig officiating. Visitation will be Friday, September 16, 2011 from 10 – 11 AM at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Marion General Hospice.
