Carol A. Jester Smith age 50 of New Bloomington, Ohio passed away Thursday, October 6, 2011 at The Cleveland Clinic.
She was born December 29, 1960 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio to the late Harold H. and Helen K. (Hornbeck) Jester Sr.
On December 21, 1981 she married Kermit F. Smith, he preceded her in death on May 31, 2009.
Carol is survived by her step mother, Shelba J. Jester of Marion, two daughters, Catina S. Smith of Larue, Pamela L. Smith of Larue, a son, Billy J. Smith of New Bloomington, two step sons, Ronald R. (Cheryl) Smith of Delaware, Kermit F. Smith Jr. of TN., two brothers, Harold H. (Kathy) Jester Jr. of Larue, Robert E. "Red" (Sheryl) Jester of Larue, three step brothers Ricky (Tammy) Napper of Marion, David Napper of FL., Tim Napper of Marion, three step sisters, Sheryl (Robert) Jester of Larue, Rita (William) Maniaci of Prospect, Kathy (Frank) Frazzini of Marion, five grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, two uncles, Clarence (Delores) Hornbeck of Marion, Earl (Linda) Hornbeck of Marion, two aunts, Agnus (Robert) Schroeder of Ashville, Norma Jean Jester of Circleville, two nieces, Jennifer E. Jester of Larue, Angela (Christopher) Mermann of Larue, and four cousins, Christopher Hornbeck of Prospect, Robert Hornbeck Marion, Clarence Hornbeck of Marion and Diana (Harold) Large of Marion.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a son, Rikki Smith.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2011 @ 1 PM at Larue Cemetery with Rev. William Maniaci officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
