Ruth Ann Bice age 68 of Marion, Ohio, passed away on Saturday July 26, 2014 at Heartland Nursing Home of Marion, Ohio.
She was born on September 30, 1945 in Akron, Ohio to the late Orval and Evelyn V. (Smith) Higgins.
She married Roy A. Bice and he survives.
Ruth was a member of the ladies auxiliary of the American Legion Post #162 in Marion. She also was a member of a Saturday morning card playing group. She loved playing games on the computer and enjoyed her family.
Besides her husband, she leaves behind four daughters and three sons; Tammy L. (Gary) McIntire of Marion, Ohio, Terri (Richard) Dawley of Cardington, Ohio, Lori (Tim) Maynard and Toni Gorenflo, both of Marion, Ohio, Thomas A. (Sharon) Bice of Marion, Ohio, Timothy L. (Pam) Bice of Loudonville, Ohio, and Michael (Stacey) Edwards of Canton, Illinois. Twelve grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren survive as well as a brother, David (Lynn) Higgins of Marion, Ohio, a half brother, Francis (Gloria) Higgins of Alabama, a half sister, Rebecca Rose of Akron, Ohio and two nieces; Natasha and Sandra.
Besides her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by a brother.
Funeral Services will be on Wednesday July 30, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home in Marion, Ohio. Officiating the service will be Pastor Jeff Deel. Burial will follow in the Oller Cemetery in Delaware, Co. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday July 29, 2014 from 5 to 8 P.M.
