Roy A. Bice age 80 of Marion, Ohio passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015 at his residence.
He was born December 22, 1934 in Delaware, Ohio to the late Don F. and Estella M. (Covert) Bice.
On November 2, 1975 he married Ruth A. (Higgins) Bice, she preceded him in death on July 26, 2014.
Roy was employed at Whirlpool Corporation for 40 years in the repair bay. He was a member of Better Yesterday Cruise Club, Marion County Car Club, collected many different cars and loved to restore any classic car.
He is survived by his children, Thomas A. (Sharon) Bice of Marion, OH., Timothy L. (Pam) Bice of Danville, OH., Tammy L. (Gary) McIntire of Marion, OH., Terri (Richard) Dawley of Morrow County, step children, A. Michael Edwards of Canton, IL., Lori (Tim) Maynard of Marion, OH., Toni Gorenflo of Marion, OH., 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter and three nieces.
Roy was preceded in death by his brothers, Edwin and Bill Bice.
Visitation for Roy will be held Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 3-5 and 7- 9 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, July 3, 2015 at 10 AM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Chaplain Jeff Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Oller Cemetery in Delaware County.
