Pearl L. Kohler, age 83, of Marion passed away Saturday morning at the Brookdale Assisted Living Facility.
Born in Jackson, Ohio on June 16, 1933 to Foster and Goldie (Long) Albright, she was a graduate of Marion Harding High School and a member of Fite Memorial Baptist Church.
Pearl married James R. Kohler on November 24, 1953 and he preceded her in death as did her 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Pearl had worked as a claims representative for the Social Security Administration and had also previously owned PJ’s Pizza.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her 2 daughters; Pamela (David) Neidhart and Vickie (Rob) Lill, her sister; Wilma (Robert) Williamson, her 5 grandchildren; Kristin (Andy) Nicolosi, Lindsay (Chris) Rudy, Scott Lill, Davey (Megan) Neidhart and Ashley Neidhart, her 4 great-grandchildren; A. J. Nicolosi, Madison Nicolosi, Silas Lill and Knox Neidhart and numerous other relatives and friends.
Friends may call Tuesday from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at the Hughes-Allen Funeral Home. A celebration of Pearl’s life will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the Hughes-Allen Funeral Home with Rob Lill leading the celebration. Burial will follow in Chapel Heights Memory Garden.
