Anna L. Ferriman, age 93 of Marion, passed away at her home on Monday, August 29, 2016.
Anna was born on April 16, 1923 in Marion, the daughter of James and Louise (Speidel) Grounds. On December 27, 1940, Anna was united in marriage to Albert R. Ferriman; he preceded her in death on January 23, 2012.
Anna was retired after 30 years of service as a Braider Operator at B.F. Goodrich.
Anna was wholly devoted to her family and her most cherished times were those spent at family get-togethers. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and tending to her yard work.
She is survived by her children: Jack R. (Marge) Ferriman, Arthur E. (Georgette) Ferriman and Judith (Allen) Johnson; grandchildren: Scott (Sally) Ferriman, Shawn Ferriman, Jeff (Sherrie) Ferriman, Jodi (Mark) Hundley, David (Sarah) Johnson and Lori (Scott) Crawford; 11 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; siblings: Malcolm Ground, Mary Martin and Barbara Jean Debolt.
Anna is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Albert R. Ferriman; siblings: James Grounds, Jessie Bowen, Dwight Grounds and half brother John Bodman.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 2, 2016 at Grand Prairie Cemetery at 10:30AM with Pastor Ed Wahl officiating.
