David S. Foreman age 84 formerly of Marion, Ohio passed away Monday, August 22, 2016 at Hospice of South West Ohio in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He was born April 10, 1932 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio to the late Dwight and Sylvia (Scherff) Foreman.
Dave’s interest’s included flying, sailing, sports and family. He expressed his creativity through music, filmmaking, acting, photography and art. As an active person, Dave enjoyed gathering and socializing with friends and family. He had a quick humor and loved to entertain children with marionettes, various gadgets and magic tricks. Being an animal lover, when you visited him at home, he normally had a pet by his side. In 1954, Dave graduated from Miami (Ohio) University with a degree in Business Administration as a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity and Air Force ROTC. He served his country as a pilot in the Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Foreman of Milford, OH., his children, Mike Foreman, Scott (Laura) Foreman and Jill Frentrop, step children, David (Lisa) Hypes, Doug (Marianne) Hypes and Becky (Wayne) Scott, nine grandchildren and his sister, Sue (Bob) Stockdale.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 2 PM at the Boyd-Born funeral Home with Pastor Dwight Hord officiating. The family will greet friends from 1 – 2 PM before the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. The family will be hosting a gathering at 3033 Conrads Trace, Marion, Ohio after the service.
