Lenore moved to Marion at the age of four.  She graduated from Pleasant High School in 1954 and shortly after married the love of her life, Richard “Dick” Ruby, Sr. on May 22, 1954.  Together they shared 62 years of marriage raising three children, caring for grandchildren and loving many great-grandchildren.   A woman of faith, Lenore was a long time member of Berean Baptist Church.

Lenore was a loving wife who cared deeply for her family. She loved to travel especially when she could spend time by the water and beach.  Lenore’s favorite place to visit was St. Maarten enjoying the beach and shopping.  In later years Lenore and Dick would spend winters in Florida making lifelong friends.
