Leon Johnson, “Peewee,” was born on August 3, 1954. He passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Marion General Hospital.
He was an avid foster parent throughout the years in Marion, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by parents Leo and Sofronia Johnson; sisters Essie Mae Walker, Bonnie Jean Williams, Frankie Lee Byrd, and Delrita Cohen; and brothers Johnny Johnson and Henry Lee Johnson.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving companion of 30 years Marilyn Peters; brothers Leo (Catherine) Johnson, Jack (Lois) Johnson, and Hockless Johnson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 16, 2016 from 10 AM to 11 AM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Services will follow at 11 AM. Burial will follow at the Marion Cemetery.
