Mitchell “Mitch” A. Randles, age 51 of Marion, passed away on Wednesday September 28, 2016.
Mitch was born on December 26, 1964 in Marion, the son of Cletus and Loretta (Wicker) Randles. He graduated from Harding High School in the class of 1982. Mitch was an over-the-road truck drive, working for C.T. Incorporated. Mitch also proudly served his country during Dessert Strom in the United States Navy.
Mitch enjoyed hunting, watching the Cleveland Indians, Cincinnati Bengals and the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was a collector of family heirlooms and sports memorabilia. His greatest achievement and proudest accomplishment are his 4 adoring children.
He is survived by his children: Jeremy Butterbaugh, Tarah Butterbaugh, Elijah Randles and Caleb Randles; grandchildren: D.J., Kimberlyn and Jace Mathew; his father Cletus L. Randles; and siblings: Shasta Dixon, Teresa (Danny) Appleby and Candy (Charlie) Walker.
Mitch is preceded in death by his mother Loretta Randles.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the Heartland Hospice nurses: Mark Starrs and Laurie Allen. They would also like to express their thanks to Ashley Arthur for her compassionate care of Mitch.
Visitation will be held on Friday September 30, 2016 at Gunder/Hall & Snyder Funeral Home, 347 West Center St., Marion from 5PM to 7PM; Funeral services will be Saturday at the funeral home at 10:30AM with Pastor Ryan Strothers officiating; Military honors will be observed.
