Nina Keener, age 89 of Caledonia, passed away Thursday morning September 22nd, 2016 at her home.
Nina was born May 30th, 1927 in Clay County, WV as the daughter of the late Hershel and Stella (Walls) McGlothlin.
She was first married to Elery Nicholas and than Noah Keener. Both husbands preceded her in death.
She was a employed for many years at Abbot & Company in Iberia. She loved her home and her many pets, but most of all she loved her family.
Nina is survived by her children; Warren Keener of Caledonia, Gary Stephen Keener of Bellefontaine, Rexel Eugene Keener of Caledonia, Kenneth Keener of Galion, Grover Keener of Charleston WV, Bill Keener of Middletown, PA, Bobby Keener of Buffalo, WV, Darius (Ruth Ann) McLaughlin of Clayton, NC, Ruth Ann Nicholas of Marion, James (Diane) Nicholas of Orrville, Jerry (Fortha) Nicholas of Cartersville, GA, Don (Shirley) Nicholas of Marion, Stella Murphy of Marion, Cynthia (Rick) Hodges of Waverly, Aleatha (John) Hodge of Charleston, WV. Francis (Johnny) McCormick of Charleston WV, Enna May (Rodney) Myers of Charleston, WV. She will be greatly missed by her many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Nina Keener will be held on Monday September 26th at 1:00 in the Caledonia Church of Christ with Bryan White & Chase Keener officiating. Interment will follow in Caledonia Cemetery. Friends may call at the Timson Allen & Melroy Funeral Home on Sunday from 3:00 until 5:00.
