Thomas A. “Tommy” Nutter Jr., age 69, of Marion, died Saturday, September 3, 2016 at home. Tommy was born August 27, 1947 in Bucyrus, Ohio to the late Thomas A. Nutter Sr. and Lola Madeline (Swartz) Nutter. He was married then later divorced.
Tommy enjoyed being with family and friends and being around animals especially his dogs, Roscoe and Ginger. He also enjoyed going fishing with his companion Dawn Zackman and watching the NFL games, the 49ers and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He enjoyed drinking beer while watching games. Tommy was a really great bowler. He worked many years in Marion at different places.
Tommy is survived by his companion, Dawn Zackman of Marion; two daughters, Stephanie (Kenny) Padilla of Salinas, Ca. and Josephine Nutter of Palm Springs, Ca; 3 bothers, Larry Nutter of Glennallen, Ak., Gary Nutter of Upper Sandusky and James (Tami) Nutter of Upper Sandusky; sister, Tina “Philip” Burnside of Kenton. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild on the way, 8 nieces; and one nephew.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call from 2 until 4 pm at Gunder/Hall & Snyder Funeral Home, 347 W Center St., on Sunday, September 11, 2016. An 11 am funeral service will be held at Gunder/ Hall & Snyder Funeral on Monday, September 12, 2016 with Pastor Gary Lyons officiating. Burial will follow at Marion Cemetery.
