Allen William Gale, 80, of Marion, Ohio, passed away Monday, October 10, after a battle with brain cancer.
Allen was born in Lawrence, MA, grew up in Detroit, and received degrees from the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, and Wayne State University. He spent many years in financial roles in the automotive industry in Detroit and Cleveland before settling in Marion. He ran the Marion Bronze Company and had real estate and other ventures in Marion. He had a passion for fishing and Lionel trains.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Sharon; five children: Jeff (Dede), Mike (Sharon), Lisa, Lindsey (T.J.), and David: three grandchildren: Ashley, Amanda, and Taylor; and two great-granddaughters.
Per his wishes, no calling hours or funeral services will be held.
