Georgia Bell Green, age 60 of Marion, passed away on Friday September 30, 2016 at the Heartland Westerville in Westerville, Ohio.
Georgia entered this world on December 4, 1955 to the late Irvine and Georgia (Sherman) Southward in Wharton, Ohio.
She graduated from Elgin High School with the class of 1975. Georgia worked for the Whirlpool Corporation for about 15 years and mostly on Line 3. She loved to go camping every weekend at the Hickory Grove Campgrounds. She will truly be missed by her family and friends, especially her canine companion, Butterscotch.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister: Doris (Ebb) Bowmen
Georgia is survived by her son: William “Bill” (Angela) Snyder of Marion, OH; four sisters: Linda Sue (Larry) Shoewater of Mt. Vernon, OH, Vivian (David) Jackson of Marion, OH, Lillian (Tom) VanHorn of Cardington, OH and Donna (Jack, Jr.) Honaker of Marion, OH; three brothers: William “Bill” (Cindy) Southward of Cheyenne, WY, James “Jim” (Verna) Southward of LaRue, OH ; and Irvin “Bud” F. (Debbie) Southward of Dover, DE one grandchild: Marina Maynard and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be on Monday October 3, 2016 at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home starting at 10 am. Graveside service will follow visitation at the Agosta Cemetery at 11 am with Pastor Bill Prater officiating. Online condolences can be expressed to the family at: www.boydbornfuneralhome.com.
