Judith A. Wade, 75, of Marion

Judith A. WadeOn November 6th, 2016, our loving wife and mother, Judith A. Wade, 75, of Marion, entered into eternal peace.

On April 18, 1941, Judy was born in Alpena, Michigan to the late Wilfred and Marjorie Robarge.  She graduated from Alpena High School and married her high  school sweetheart, Jerry Wade. They had three children together: Kevin, Kelly and Kim.

Judy was a faithful, long-time member of St. Mary Catholic Church and an active volunteer at St. Vincent .  After her children were grown, she worked at the Marion Area Counseling Center and the law firm of Kegler, Brown, Hill and Ritter with Ted McKinnis. Judy enjoyed golfing, socializing and yearly trips to St. Augustine, Florida, with their dear and long-time friends. Nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren’s sporting events. Judy was a wonderful wife, grandmother, sister and friend.  Her smile and sense of humor would light up any room and she never met a person that she couldn’t strike up a conversation with in seconds! She lived her life with grace, passion and faith and she will be sadly missed by those that were blessed to know her.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 56 years, Jerry; children: Kevin (Trish) Wade of Chagrin Falls, Kelly (Michael) Dutt of Trumbull, CT, and Kim Shawver of Westerville; grandchildren: Brandon (Courtney), Rylan and Taylor Dutt, Tristan (Andy) Henn and Cameron Wade, and Morgan and Max Shawver; great-grandchildren: Kayleigh, Haydn and Rowan Dutt. She is also survived by her two dear sisters: Susan (Bill) Worthley and Kathy (Rick) Gapske; brother-in-law, Roger (Diane) Wade; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her family will greet friends from 4 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 10, at the Snyder Funeral Homes, DENZER Chapel, 360 E. Center St., Marion. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Judy’s honor at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, at St. Mary Church (address below), with Father Ryan Schmit officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Church, 251 N. Main St., Marion, OH 43302, or to St. Vincent de Paul, 342 N. Main St., Marion, OH 43302.
