Beverly Green, age 80 of Ft Pierce, Florida went to be with the Lord Friday, January 20, 2017 at her residence.
She was born December 11, 1936 in Shuqualak, Mississippi to the late Lee Morris and Carrie Bell (Mason) Goodwin. She married her High School sweetheart Eligh Green and was a graduate of Harding High School.
She was a proud and reverent servant of God whom always said a prayer for anyone and everyone she knew. Beverly began her career at Marion General Hospital as a dishwasher and moved up to becoming laboratory technician and ultimately became the Department Head of the Blood Bank.
She leaves behind to cherish the memories two children, Donna Green of Port St.Lucie, FL and Beverly Ann Green-Sanford (Le Sanford) of Westerville, OH., her siblings, George (Doris) Goodwin of Columbus, OH., Melvin (Arabell) Goodwin of East St.Louis, IL., Milton (Calvina) Goodwin of California, four grandchildren, Marques Chtison, Monet Chitison, Jourdain-Le Sanford and Lorraine Sanford, three great grandchildren, Xavier Chitison, Zariyah Chitison and Malayla Cooper-Chitison.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 27, 2017 from 12 noon to 1 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 1 PM at the funeral home with Minister Le Sanford officiating.
