George David Lease Sr, age 44, of Marion passed away unexpectedly Monday January 16, 2017 at Marion General Hospital.
George was born on October 4, 1972 to George Neeley and Phyliss Holsinger in Portsmouth, Ohio. They moved to Marion where he attended Marion Harding High School.
George enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles. If someone needed help with their vehicle we would drop what he was doing and lend a helping hand. Above all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Many memories were made during the time spent with his grandchildren.
George will be greatly missed by his parents; wife Kimberly Lease; children Christy Faunce, Courtney Mullins, George Lease Jr., Brooklyn (Brandon) Mullins, and Johnathen Lease; grandchildren Neveahona Lease, George Lease III, Sarayah Mullins, Averiana Smith, and Alliyah Mullins; Niece Renay Leanse, Nephew Christopher Lease, and brother James Lease.
He was preceded in death by the mother of his children Connie Howard and Ottis Abrams.
George’s family will greet friends on Wednesday January 25, 2017 from 11am to 1pm at Snyder Funeral Homes of Marion DENZER Chapel located at 360 East Center Street, Marion. Services celebrating his life will follow at 1pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, George’s family asks that memorial contributions be sent to the funeral home to assist in his final expenses.
